BHS, BE, BD and BSJA Accredited Instructors

There are a large number of Riding Instructors in Hampshire, the one that you chose will depend on your personality, ability and future goals.Whether your interests are Dressage, Show-Jumping or Eventing, it is a good idea to use an accredited instructor, as they will have undergone the required training in order to acheive their status. They will also have competed in their area of specialism, thus being able to provide advice should you wish to compete. If you are able to, it is useful to observe a lesson with your prospective instructor to see what their teaching style is like, and how effective they are.

Each of us reacts to different methods of communication, and it is important that your instructor's teaching style suits the way, and the speed, at which you absorb information.

Above all, the process of learning should be enjoyable for both Pupil and Instructor. You should feel that you are learning at a pace you are comfortable with, and seeing improvements. The pupil must also invest time in the learning process, Instructors are not miracle workers, and can't transform you in a couple of hours! The process of improvement is on-going, and you must practice in between lessons to really see the benefits.

Once you have found a suitable Instructor, and with hard work, your goals can be achieved.
