The BHS Register of Instructors Register has been published to benefit both Instructors and the public.
All Registered Instructors are BHS Qualified Instructors as stated and have professionally been trained to provide safe instruction for a risk activity. They are covered by Public Liability Insurance (may not apply for instructors on the category B and Overseas, please see below) and have signed a Code Of Conduct.
They hold either a current Health and Safety First Aid at Work or BHS Equine Specific First Aid Certificate and also a Child Protection Certificate. The BHS believe that current topical awareness and good practice is the key to good instruction and offers a better service to the public, all Instructors attend regular training session.
